Two Gloucestershire County Cricket players will be taking part in The Big Bike Ride, raising money for the PCA Benevolent Fund & the Tom Maynard Trust. The whole event is aiming to raise £200,000.

Hamish Marshall & Richard Coughtrie will be taking part and will be hoping to raise as much money as possibe in the challenging point-to-point 411 mile bike ride taking place over five days. The ride will start in Durham on 18 October and finish at Lord's on 22 October. Functions will be held on some evening of the ride, which will allow for further fun, fundraising and charity awareness.

"After the tragic loss of Tom last year, and the PCA’s unique connection with Matthew and Tom, we have joined together to make this a ride to remember in fundraising terms and to ensure there is a positive legacy for Tom's." http://www.thepca.co.uk/the-big-bike-ride-bf-tmt-2013.html

Hamish & Richard both have accounts set up to raise money and have asked for any donation towards their fundraising to go onto they online fund. Richard Coughtrie said "We would both be extremely grateful for any donations from the members of BS7 gym"
