Training puts the body under stress, which is the catalyst for the desired adaptations to occur, whether that is increased endurance, strength or muscle size.  Training hard and continual stress can also lead to some unwanted changes in the body such as reduced muscle length, reduced flexibility and the formation of knots in muscle fibres.

If you train regularly you should ensure you take the time to carry out the right remedial and prehab work to make your training as effective as it can be and reduce the risk of injury which can set your training back a long time.
