D-day is nearly here and Jules and her team are ready and eager to take on the Three Peaks challenge. The team have carried out some practice walks to prepare them for the challenge and no doubt they will need all the motivation and training so that they can reach the summit of the three peaks.

They will climb Pen-y-Ghent (694m), Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m) and cover 25 miles cross country within 12 hours. They will take in some spectacular scenery along the way

The heavy rain forecast for the event on Sunday has not dampened the spirits of the team and Jules even commented “It will help us keep cool as we power our way up the peaks”.

The track team and all at BS7 would like to thank those who have generously sponsored the team. If you would also like to sponsor and raise money for Alzheimer’s, it’s not too late.  To learn more about the charity and how to get involved visit http://www.alzheimers.org.uk/site/scripts/documents.php?categoryID=200402

Good luck to Jules, David, Bernadette, Tasha, Martina & Maggie
