A group of MS Patients has recently completed their first course of hydrotherapy which has been run by the Bristol and Avon Multiple Sclerosis Centre (BrAMS) in conjunction with BS7 Gym.  This course was specifically designed to help improve the core strength and flexibility of the patients through training in a pool.

BS7 Gym, Personal Trainer, Nathan Walsh (who has been working with the BrAMS team for nearly two years) has been hugely impressed with the progress the programme has made to-date.  Nathan said: “Working each week with the BrAMS team and patients has been so rewarding for everyone involved.  Our sessions at BS7 Gym have seen vast improvements each week and the recent hydrotherapy classes have added an extra dimension to the programme which has been hugely beneficial to all patients.  It allowed us to help the patients improve on specific elements of their development such as balance, core strength and flexibility in a new environment.”

“The exercises that we planned were tailor-made for each individual’s needs, with the results positively outweighing our expectations of the programme.”

BS7 Gym looks forward to continuing its relationship with BrAMS.
