Want to try something new, BS7 Gym Manager Gary has put together a December workout for yourself, give it go and let us know how you got on via Twitter

"After an appropriate preparation begin the exercise pairings by completing alternate reps of the paired exercises.  Stick with one pair at a time and complete alternate reps for three minutes, rest for one minute and then proceed to the next pair for three minutes of alternate reps, repeat the process until all pairs are complete." 

"Should you hit failure at any point in a three minute pairing, take a short breather, then back to the reps for the remainder of the time."

"Weighted exercises can be done with either a barbell or dumbbells, enjoy!"

Dynamic warm-up

Burpee / jump chin up

Squat / step up

Press up / alternate mountain climber

Romainian dead lift / bent row

Power clean / squat

"Finish off with a cool down and stretch"
